Of our three Mexican options, this is our favorite (although Los Amigos is a close second for me). I almost always get the pollo asado, which comes with beans, rice and guac. SO usually gets the steak fajitas and they're good about honoring his request that it not arrive scorched. I almost always get enough to get a to-go box for lunch the next day.
We enjoy their chips and salsa (although it's a bit too cilantro forward fot the SO!). They serve Pepsi products and do a brisk margarita service when the college students are in town.
One thing to know is that if there is a birthday celebration, they have some kind of rattle they use that's super loud, especially if you're not expecting it. We do our best to avoid that!
Plenty of parking, friendly staff who are usually quite attentive if they're not super busy (tecommend avoiding Thurs-Sat if you prefer a quieter experience!).

Had some burritos, fajitas, enchiladas. All of it was great! Really enjoyed a pitcher of the house margarita too.
Update! So I wrote the above review two years ago, since that day this has been our regular Mexican spot in town. We get very consistently good and fast service here. The queso dip is your favorite white queso with nothing else. My girlfriend exclusively eats the fajita quesadilla and loves it every time.
I try to bounce around a little, the pork section is very good. Carnitas with or without bbq is . I love the burrito Banderas and their chimichangas are top notch! I got the trio of enchiladas once and I don't think it was for me.
Make sure to grab a dum dum on your way out!
